PSJA Memorial Cheer Captain signs to Texas State University

ALAMO – PSJA Memorial Early College High School (PSJA Memorial ECHS) Wolverine Cheerleading Team Captain Reanna Flores signed a letter of intent to cheer at the next level for Texas State University on Feb. 6, 2024.   


Reanna has been a proud member of the PSJA Memorial ECHS Wolverine Varsity Cheer Team and was named Captain her sophomore year. She has earned numerous accolades in the sport including:  


  • 4x NCA All-American  

  • 2x Top All-American 

  • 2023 UIL State Bronze Medalist 

  • 2024 UIL State 4th Place 

  • 2024 NCA Sideline Spirit Award 

  • 2022 UCA Dancing Diva 

  • 2024 UCA Jump Queen 

  • 2024 UCA APP 

  • Miss Showtime  


In addition to these athletic accomplishments, Reanna has excelled academically. She will be graduating in the top 15% of her class, is a member and officer of the National Honor Society, and is part of the Nationally Recognized PSJA Early College Program. Reanna will be graduating high school with an Associate Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from South Texas College. 


While at Texas State, Reanna plans to study health care to prepare her for medical school and her dream of becoming an OBGYN. 


“I want to thank the administration here at PSJA Memorial for being so kind to me when I moved here my sophomore year,” said Flores. “I would also like to give a huge thank you to my parents for their sacrifices and all of the coaches that have given me the motivation and strive to continue doing what I do every single day.”
